Ahhh. Sunday. Quiet. Cool. Robin song. Sun vying with clouds. Gusty winds. Tinkling chimes.
A fabulous day to do absolutely nothing. Or anything.
Chocolate, Vanilla?
Choose.
I shared this on Sunday in a Substack note. The concept comes to me now and again when presented with a decision. It's a phrase I learned over one grueling, exhilarating, flabbergasting, life-transforming weekend in L.A. while experiencing the Forum.
Whoa. Now, there's a blast from the past.* (If you have had the privilege of attending a Landmark Forum, drop a comment below. We gotta talk!)
Chocolate? Vanilla? Choose!
Get it? No?
Ultimately, it doesn't matter which one you pick. Just... choose, already. Life goes on.
*This memory made me wonder, "Is Landmark Forum still around?" A quick DuckDuckGo search revealed, "Boy, are they ever." And muy expensive, too—almost a cool thou. Of course, even in the early 2000s, they were raking it in. They got quite a few of my precious dollars.
To be fair, in exchange, I gained valuable life lessons. One was to GET OVER MYSELF. Another was the indubitable CHOCOLATE, VANILLA, CHOOSE.
Soo... I ask you again: "Chocolate? Vanilla? CHOOSE."
Are you pondering a life choice? If so, refer to the previous paragraph. *hehehe, not kidding*

If you enjoy upbeat urban fantasies with a psychological and romantic edge, check out my completed Awen Trilogy. It’s different. Like me. Think of a secret society of magical druids protecting Earth from a race of evil reptilians circa 2042. Then imagine a down-on-her-luck disaster specialist compelled to lead said druids.
Mix in a sexy druid priest, his teenaged nephew, a plethora of quirky animal and dragon elders in a grand romp that takes you from Druid Hills, GA, to the Bahamas, Normandy, Wales, Glastonbury, and even the poles.
You know you wanna. Come along for the ride.

The Forum. Late 90's. Still use the concepts almost daily. What a blast from the past. 🔥
I love that you use Duck Duck Go too. 🙌
